About Our Mission

Originally, we started by examining insulin, a diabetes medication that was life-sustaining for a lot of people. We noticed that a vial of insulin in the United States costs nearly $100, cost savings only being given to those with insurance. This could render lower income citizens unable to afford enough insulin and force them to ration this medication, which can often be lethal. Horrified by these findings, we broadened our research into the prices of a variety of different medications and medical services and discovered similar high prices. We founded this organization because of our desire to help disadvantaged people afford life-saving treatments.
